I was a little bit surprised to see England still thrown back in time when I went to a blood donation camp near my house. India is classified as a malaria prone country and you cannot donate blood if you have travelled to India in the past 6 months. I had gone home last Christmas and hence was told to come back in July, if I wanted to "give blood"
Although the lady was following protocol and being verypolite in explaining the situation to me, I had mixed feelings regarding the whole incident!
Is Health & Safety a boon or a bane to England???

It's not only London which follows the protocol..I was dinged way back in '06 in San Francisco when I went to a Red cross camp.
I know, insane!
