Runner's Blue??

In the last 16 weeks (~4 months) I have run only about an average of 12 -14km per week, meaning I have been out on the road for less than 3 days and mostly short runs (the maximum has been a 14.5kms at an average of 7km per run).

I am not sure, when this Runner's blue hit me, I have had some injuries, not completely healed, shin and knee pain, and lacked a rhythm that I enthusiastically discovered while training for Paris and Brussels Marathons in the past year. Perhaps the reason is a lack of a running goal in the vicinity, the lack of time to dedicate to running, pre-occupation of my mind with other things like my career and future, or plain simple laziness coupled with a deadly mix of lack of motivation.

Whatever it is, I have to end it! Atleast 3 friends have told me to keep running / re-start in the past week, and I should!

How about you make a commitment? Right here! Commit that you will do 30kms this week... thats like 5kms a day for 6 days... and prove that you're good for the word! :)

I'd love to, but I bought myself an expensive excuse, my cycle :-)
